Personal Statement

Playing collegiate basketball is a goal fueled by love for the game and a deep commitment to growth—as both a player and a teammate. The discipline, resilience, and leadership the sport has taught me have shaped who I am far beyond the court. I thrive on competition, meaningful relationships, and the daily grind it takes to get better.

What drives me most is the process. Early mornings in the gym, late-night workouts, film sessions, and training with my closest friends—those are the moments I live for. There’s something powerful about doing the work most people don’t see. The game pushes me mentally and physically and always offers something new to master.

Coaches often tell me my work ethic stands out. I embrace feedback, show up with energy and effort, and always prioritize the team. As a student of the game, I’m constantly sharpening my fundamentals, studying film, and expanding my basketball IQ. I take pride in the little things—defending, rebounding, communicating, and being someone my coaches and teammates can count on.

To any program, I bring heart, hustle, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to win. My mindset is to be coachable and fiercely competitive. Whether it’s in practice or during games, I bring intensity, focus, and positivity to the floor—and I strive to be a great teammate both on and off the court.

My goal is to compete at the highest level possible, ideally NCAA Division I, but I’m open to any opportunity where I can grow, contribute, and be part of something bigger than myself. More than anything, I’m looking for a program built on strong relationships, shared values, and a culture of development and toughness.

I want to make the most of this journey—maximizing every chance to learn, improve, and enjoy the game surrounded by teammates and coaches who bring out the best in one another.

College basketball is more than a dream—it’s a challenge I’m ready to meet. I want to grow as an athlete, a student, and a person, and I’m excited to find a program that believes in building both strong players and strong people. I’m all in.
